Lysander:
"Captain, Sir. We have a problem." A voice trilled out over the throng of the bustling bridge.
"What is it, Ensign?" The deformed, utterly disgusting creature sitting in the captain's chair asked, knowing the answer before he even posed the question.
"We've dropped out of Warp, sir. The Dreadnaught is badly damaged, and we don't have any repair parts aboard. Warp is disabled, weapons are only at hald capacity, and our navigation computer is powering down." Came the reply.
"Damnit, quickly find us a planet with sentient life, we need to get this thing fixed, Anathema is expecting us to reunite with the Brobdingnag soon." Hellion barked, as the whirling of the computers powering up began to be heard over the throng of the ship's crew going about their daily tasks.
"Found one already, Captain. And you're not going to believe it...." The words trailed off, as if the shock of what she'd found had already overtaken the Ensign. "...It's....it's...True Terra, sir. We've found the first Earth. After three thousand years of people searching the Multiverse, we've finally found it." The shock was completely, and entirely, uncalled for, because True Terra wasn't that much of a thing to worry about.
However, it would be a good place to begin their search. True Terra was said to have made many technological advancements, which had resulted in the creation of the United Earth Confederation, as well as the Multiversal theory that had allowed so many cultures to begin their ascension into the heavens and become the god-like beings that had seemingly turned into.
The ship crawled through the stars, blotting out the light bit by bit as the massive war-ship manuevered through space. Hellion could only smile the most devious smile. He had lost favor with Anathema and the rest of Val'gara, but this would gain him a new place, a higher place. He hoped it would even gain him the spot at the right hand of Anathema, himself.
The planet was in sight within moments, and Hellion was already prepared to go. Guns on his hips, the gunbelts crossed, he stepped toward the main exit of the ship; a small hole in the floor, big enough to fit a few bodies through. As he stood on the release pad, he moved his head up and down, nodding. The Ensign who had given him the news pulled the switch, and the floor opened, dropping him from space and into the atmosphere of the planet below.
A thousand miles spanned his fall, carring him through the air quickly, before he slammed -- feet-first -- into the ground. Shockwaves of the landing lashed out in all directions for miles and miles, leveling many of the buildings in the rural Kentucky town of Dawson Springs. Hundreds died in that initial strike, but those that lived didn't make it far in their free-run to escape. The Mist lashed out from Hellion's body, covering a mile and a half in under two seconds. Those that fled, were caught in The Mist, and were already Hellion's mind-slaves.
---------------------------- Time-Skip -------------------------------
Hellion had been on the planet for three days, and had already assimilated fifteen countries, a million people, and sent the technology to fix the ship back to the people aboard. The only thing that was left, was one -- well protected -- city in America known as Los Angeles. Those he'd assimilated into the Val'garan fold were aboard The Dreadnaught, waiting for his return and their inevitable trip to the Val'garan world-ship, Brobdingnag. Hellion was in Los Angeles, disguised as a human, and walking the streets. The city was, indeed, well protected. The entire United States Military was present, keeping peace and order amongst the fourteen million inhabitants. Hellion was biding his time to unleash The Mist here, when he sensed something off-balance.
Another being who could, possibly, challenge him in combat was here, and that always peaked his interest. He opened his mind, and let The Mist go. It covered Los Angeles in moments, and it had assimilated everyone within reach. The power was still there, in the distance. "Not in the city, then." He said quietly, before pulling The Mist back into his body. Through the link that was built within the Val'garans, the Hive-Mind that they had, he told everyone around him to simply act normal, and he sat down, robed and hooded, waiting for the power to find him -- as it inevitably would.
Shonengetsu:
Shonengetsu had been roaming lake sides that were deep within a forest far off from the main city of Los Angeles. In his mind, Shonengetsu was wondering what word he had heard about when a powerful being crashed down from the skies and killed hundreds of people. A slight shake of his head showed that Shonengetsu could not worry about such a thing, and he had to continue his journey. After all, he was only a artificial human, but he had already learned that his creators made a mistake in inserting a fake memory chip into his brain when they went to run the emotion tests. A slight bit of radiation on the YTB wire had caused Shonengetsu to gain special abilities down the line of his journey. And with the fake memory of his parents dying, his journey had only been a bit depressing and boring. He only found some major landmarks, met remarkable people, but nothing would spark Shonengetsu's interest.
As he walked along the sides of this new found lake, only a couple miles away from the last one he examined, he could see himself in the reflections of the water. His light blue eyes, showing that he was in a calm state. His black over shirt that buttoned up only to a certain point, but stopped so that the neck button would not be done so. This left enough room for the collar to be let out neatly upon his shoulders, about mid-way. With every step he took close to the lake, Shonengetsu could see more of himself appear in the reflection. Moving down from his over shirt, there were a pair of black tight jeans that Shonengetsu was leg to believe were in style with regular humans that were his age. Though he knew he was not fully human, he did not want to be left out of the fashion style, only because his teen-like mind would not let him. At his hip-side, Shonengetsu had a attached carrying bag, in which he carried around a rope, 20 anti-tank mines, and 10 kunais. On his back, laid his most trusted weapon, the Grave Marker. It was sealed to his back by a hold that can only be broke when the tribal marked blanket surrounding the weapon was removed. At the opposite side of his body, on the hip, laid two Katanas, that were sheathed, but close enough to be ready to pull and slashed through the air. On his right shoulder blade, another hold was sealed down to keep his spiritual bow in place. In front of the sheathed Katanas laid a carrying pouch for 20 spiritual arrows. Both the bow and arrows had been handed down to him by the old chief of the Apache tribe. They were made with the spirits of gods, which boggled his mind when he first heard about it. Throughout all this time on the planet he had considered his only hell, Shonengetsu had never found the one thing that he desired most...Love. He knew nothing of the meaning, and did nothing to understand the mysteries of it. He only knew that it brought happiness and sadness to others. In some cases, it brought out violence.
Deep in thought still, at the lake side, Shonengetsu had felt a presence that was not too far away. In his time, a few miles was a walk in the park. He had never taken a automobile places, or a plane. Shonengetsu had noticed something about this being he felt, which is probably why it was the only thing he felt nearby. This being had been more powerful than a normal human being, and with that being known to himself, Shonengetsu had looked away from the lake, his blue optics peering over to the direction he felt the presence, and started his walk to meet this unnatural being.
It took Shonengetsu approximately 72 hours to finally meet his destination, but he did. He was finally at the perimeter of Los Angeles, a great city that was protected so very well. In fact, it was so well protected, that when Shonengetsu first came up to the perimeter, he saw tanks lined up that seemed ready to fire off at any threat they sensed was needed to be destroyed. Being that he seemed to not be a threat to these thanks, considering the people never came to check who he was, or search him, Shonengetsu continued into the city, only to feel the presence of the being get closer. In his heart he felt that there was something wrong with the people around him. They didn't act like the people he had encountered in his past, but maybe things change when he leaves humanity. Or maybe there was big news in town that made people speechless. Shonengetsu was struck by multiple questions, trying to figure out what had these people acting so strange. As if they were purposely acting nonchalant about everything.
Along with this feeling of a phenomenon, Shonengetsu felt somewhat unsafe to be traveling in this city, but he did want to know what great power loitered within it. Maybe the great power was the reason all these people were unfit to be considered normal in his eyes. Before taking anymore steps, Shonengetsu stopped, feeling a bit of unease. This ominous feeling he got, made him take a step back. In his artificial heart, he felt that there was something about to go wrong, but he did not know what. He remembered back to the tank he had encountered. He thought to himself now. "Why had they not searched me? I do have weapons, and if any sane military saw me, they would have stopped to search me." All his life he had been questioned. People began to make up names for him. They called him the Earth Walker, The Renegade, The Angel of Death. None of which mattered to him, but the fact that everyone before that weren't even part of protecting something, questioned him, made him wonder why the people in the tanks hadn't.
Shonengetsu looked to his side now, seeing a small boy sitting in a dark alley. His eyes squinted a bit, showing that he was surprised to see such a young boy in a dark alley. He squinted to make sure he was seeing correctly as well. But, yes, this was true, there was a young boy rocking back and forward within the dark confines of this alley between a small shop, and a bank. Shonengetsu stepped to the side, stepping forward to the small boy. His lips parted so that he could speak this fine English language that had surrounded him for as long as he could remember. While he did this, the words rolled off his tongue like the notes of a fine played piano. "Little boy...what are you doing here?" After saying these words, Shonengetsu had knelt down, looking at the young boy curiously, but the boy was not looking back.
Lysander:
The little boy didn't have to look at the newcomer to know where he was, and what he was doing. Through the connection with Hellion, the hive-mind that supported both the Val'garan's and their mind-slaves, he could feel what everyone else in the hive felt. What everyone else saw, he saw. With the added addition of having the ability to see using The Mist too, he didn't even need eyes, body, or mind. The Mist flowed through the boy's veins much as it did Hellions, and had the same physical effects on him that it did Hellion, and all the others.
So, in the instant the man knelt down and began to speak, Hellion's command passed through their minds. ATTACK! He'd yelled out through the mind-link, and attack the boy did. His body shot forward faster than anyone could have thought him able, and his right hand came upward in a powerful uppercut. The blow would be aimed for the chin of the newcomer, hoping to catch him off guard and throw him to the ground. The blow was moving, quickly, toward him with enough power to break the jaw in several places on initial impact.
However, that was just the boy. While the other mind-slaves understand the command given, and did nothing but watch on the boy and his movements, Hellion was moving too. He'd only been about a block away when the other turned down the alleyway, but now he was behind him, in the lip of the alley with a smile on his face. Regardless of what happened with the boy's attack, his actions would be the same.
"Why, Hello there, stranger. Do you wish to be assimilated?"
Hellion was referencing the Val'garan horde, whose job was to travel the multiverse and assimilate anyone they came into contact with, forever expanding their holdings and their numbers. Here on True Terra, none would have known about them before the initial strike of Hellion's ship, but now they would, now they did.
Hellion's mind was working faster than ever, barking orders to the mind-slaves to hold their positions, and watch with envious pride at their new master. He also shot orders through the atmosphere, to those of his kind aboard The Dreadnaught. "Prepare the weapon." The response came back quickly, assuring him that the weapon was being prepared. What it was, was unknown, just that it was powerful enough to end True Terra's lifespan in a single shot.
And all the while, the air around Hellion on the planet below condensed, and The Mist secreated from his body grew thicker.
Shonengetsu:
Upon kneeling down, Shonengetsu noticed that the boy had moved from his rocking position, and in a quick manner was attacked by this small boy. With the strength Shonengetsu possessed, he had moved his right hand up, the palm facing down. This hand was directly above the striking blow that the boy was expecting be hitting, and with that, Shonengetsu had caught the little boy's fist. While halting this small hand that the boy had thrown to him, Shonengetsu felt a bit of anger form throughout his own embodiment. With the slight of ease, Shonengetsu stood, with the boy's fist still in hand. The strength that Shonengetsu had caught the boy's hand with, hand broke several parts of the boy's fingers. After-so, Shonengetsu had tightened his grip down onto the boy's hand, breaking it whole, for this boy was just a human with no special strength, except for that of telecommunication with it's master.
Shonengetsu had felt the presence of more human beings form a mob behind himself, but they were not attacking him, only watching. He had wondered now, his back facing them, why they had just been standing there. This same feeling he had of the boy, he had of the others as well when upon entering the city, so he now knew that these people also must be under some kind of trance, or spell.
With this rising anger, Shonengetsu's body temperature rose. His special abilities of strength, speed, agility, and stamina had become more open to him, as seeing that he was out numbered. A light sigh had cut through the man's lips, parting them, only with frustration. Along his journey, Shonengetsu had never been amazed at anything, but this...this was truly an amazing feat for someone he knew nothing about. Of course, he felt the power of the humans around him, but he felt something stronger had approached from behind. He heard the man's voice speak out to him, and from this, he automatically knew that this would be a fight to the death.
Along with the initial abilities opening, his elements had all come to his senses, and within his reach. Dark Energy, being the darkness within the alley, Light Energy, being the light that shined in from the entrance of the alley, and Hell Fire, the burning heat that had been laying beneath the surface of his own formation was being concentrated through his own power. This also being the reason why his body had filled with heat in previous rises of anger.
Shonengetsu finally decided to turn, and upon turning his facial features and expression was revealed. His softly worn over-shirt had flowed with the wind that had pushed against his sides when he turned. His optics being a blood-shot red. The expression of a bored, but yet obviously anger filled face had laid there in his features.
With the slight of ease, Shonengetsu had parted his lips, speaking in a light tone that he had never used before. This could only mean that Shonengetsu was ready to destroy every square bit of the area as he wanted and planned to do. His eyes looking up to meet those of this male that had stood before him, a disgusting looking creature it had been. Shonengetsu's face filled with disgust before he could speak. "You have come here and enslaved all of these people. The innocent humans of mother Earth."
With these initial words, Shonengetsu's anger rose more every second of his talking period. His face showing more the anger in a growing manner, and soon he would be screaming out to the male that had been there, with the cocky smile upon his face. This smile enraged Shonengetsu. To think this man could be so proud of enslaving innocent people had made Shonengetsu's body temperature rise to about 180 degrees Fahrenheit. Since he was a artificial human, and this was part of his powers, this did not effect his body, nor did it kill him.
As soon as his body temperature had reached 200 degrees, Shonengetsu's right foot lifted from the ground, his knee coming to about his waist line, then, before it could be paused for about 2 seconds, he slammed his right foot into the terra. This powerful slam had caused cracks to be split directly down the center of the alley, and once it reached directly outside the alley, the rest of the terra began to crack in several places. He watched as the cracks had lead up to the powerful being in front of him, hoping that this would catch him off guard. Of course he had another plan in mind. Upon the cracking of the terra, he was not sure that this would be distracting him. Of course, he knew that this powerful being could obviously jump from the cracks and away, but his slaves could not due to their weak stature of the human organism.
From within the leading cracks, Shonengetsu could feel heat rising. This only meant that flames were beginning to rise to the top, and soon they would be shooting out all throughout the city, giving it a dead and wasted look, but oh not yet. This scenery would surely mark the looks of a soon to be destroyed area, but also the area of a tremendous battle that would take place. He only waited for the flames to rise now, knowing that they would also be coming from underneath the powerful being. Surely if he did not move, he would be burned alive and killed with the extreme heat of the flames that were coming from under.
"YOU WILL DIE FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!"
Still within his grasp, Shonengetsu had the boy's broken and disfigured fist. He he had launched his hand forward now, throwing the small boy's body forward towards the being that stood before him. He watched as the boy had been flung into the air and aimed directly to the body of the male there. The boy's body almost like a boneless and effortless moving pile of a glob. Upon screaming, Shonengetsu watched as three attacks had taken place aiming for this male that had enslaved all of humanity.
With this now thrown boy, and free hand of his, Shonengetsu brought his hand back to his right shoulder blade which had a sealed hold on his spiritual bow. His hand grabbed this bow, unsealing it with haste. And from his side, he had reached down with his other hand, grabbing one of the spiritual arrows. He moved the bow forward, positioning it so perfectly, and upon this, the bow began to glow. After-so, he positioned the arrow so that it could be pulled back on the expandable string that was on the bow. He had it pulled as far back as he could, and when it reached, it began to glow a white shining aura as well. Shonengetsu had moved his aim of the arrow to the skies, which is where he automatically shot the glowing arrow to. The spirits of the gods had led this arrow through the air resistance, without slowing. The arrow had picked up amazing speed, now he only looked down to watch as the death of his opponent had played out in his mind. He waited for this shameless beast that stood before him to make his move.
Lysander:
"You have come here and enslaved all of these people. The innocent humans of Mother Earth"
The words trailed through the air, reaching Hellion of Val'gara rapidly, the inherent tone of anger shining through the voice and conveying itself to his mind. His head nodded, up and down, as if answering and unspoken question. He didn't move when the words were spoken, other than the nod of his head. He didn't change his facial expression, aside from his head nodding, it would seem as if he hadn't heard the words. Regardless, his eyes were still intense, still enthralling. His body was still -- seemingly -- at ease.
The ground split by the foot of his adversary, cracks brancing out from their central, and beginning, point. It would seem -- of course -- that they were meant to entrap Hellion and his minions, though the minions would be the more obvious point, considering they were human, while Hellion was not. However, nothing came of the attack. The Minions, when struck and enslaved by The Mist, had gained many of the inherent powers that Hellion possessed, the most pertinent in this situation being the enhanced attributes.
With immense speed, and muscle power, each minion jumped back from the cracks as they moved. Hellion, on the other hand, manipulated the cracks to suit his fancy. He let his hands slip forward, and then spiraling around his body as he spun on the right foot. Three times, his body spun, before he slammed his own right foot into the ground, and pushed his hands toward the dirt below. The motion brought about a drastic spike in his power. The movements were unneeded, but who could help looking so graceful, Hellion couldn't.
The power manifested itself in the inborn ability to form physical constructs from pure energy. Those constructs instantly appeared, but not above ground. They guarded the area he was standing on, seperating it off from the cracks that were spanning out from around him. By the time the flames arose, it would appear as if he were being burned alive, caught in the middle of the maelstrom of flames. Truthfuly, he was caught in the midst of it, but the flames never touched him. Their heat didn't even seem to phase him.
The flung boy, who came at him as the flames rose, was burned alive. Hellion's only reaction was to broaden his smile. With his arms down by his sides, and his mind continuing to concentrate on the energy above him, and the air condensing around him, he watched in bleak consternation. Focusing his mind, he simply retained the devious smile he'd had planted on him from the beginning, and let those of the hive-mind continue to watch in amazement at their master.
Shonengetsu:
Shonengetsu was tired of the silly games this creature had to offer. Obviously this being was full of great power, but this did not intimidate Shonengetsu at all. No, instead it filled him with excitement. And with this excitement, it mixed with the anger that continued to grow. The anger began to allow adrenaline throughout his blood stream. This caused Shonengetsu a burst of energy which was obviously a common trait amongst every other being that walked the planet.
Upon seeing as the minions of this man were jumping out of the way, Shonengetsu smiled. They leaped safely away from the cracks that had spawned so effortlessly in front of his own format. He now knew that these humans were given special attributes with the enslaving power that this awful creature had put them through.
The cracks had separated, parting ways and making more than just one. As soon as this happened, he began to watch the male in front of him. It was if this being had defied gravity with his spinning motion. So elegant and beautifully, but Shonengetsu could not be so easily distracted. Not at a time like this. He had to plan out the rest of his opponent's death. From this spinning motion, his opponent had slammed his right foot as well into the Terra, sprouting a spike that would soon block off the cracks that had headed towards him. This distraction worked out perfectly in Shonengetsu's mind.
Shonengetsu smirked, it spreading across his lips that were so perfectly placed upon his pale facial structure. Seeing as Hellion never paid attention to the spiritual arrow that made its way to the sky, and through two layers of the atmosphere, the arrow had finally stopped. In its glowing state, the arrow had separated its threads, and with that, they would spread out individually to the sides of the arrow, pointing out in all directions. The glowing of the arrow obviously showed that something horrible was about to happen.
Amongst the splitting of the arrow's threads, the spirits of the gods that had been contained in this arrow began to emit so beautiful from the arrow's tip. Loud groans of discomfort from the spirits had shout out into the air and echoed throughout the city. The spirits were obviously not pleased with what destruction and chaos had been brought upon the world of the humans.
The spirits began to form together quickly, and in seconds, they had created what seemed to be a black abyss in the sky. Only after it had began to create a wind sounding tone, did it become obvious that this 'abyss' was indeed a black hole. Shonengetsu looked up, only thinking of how beautiful this black hole had seemed to be, sucking up trees, gravel, soil, random cars that laid out in the city. The destruction was beautiful. In Shonengetsu's point of view, if the world is enslaved and cannot be roamed freely without the humans being free as well, than the world may not live. He planned on killing everyone on this planet.
After summoning this black hole with his arrows of the gods, Shonengetsu laughed almost hysterically. He moved his right foot swiftly upon the surface of the Terra, creating a somewhat fluid motion. His foot had lifted up, knee about his waist-line's height, then once more, this foot slammed into the ground. This force sent downward into the ground and throughout the land piece's body mass. From this great force, it had finally reached the spike that his opponent had summoned, and instantly breaking it apart. Instead of it crumbling to the ground, the force had it shot outwards in miniature spikes of its own. These spikes heading quickly for the abdomen of Hellion.
Counter-acting with his foot, Shonengetsu had moved it back again, only to have it placed at the back of his other. With his right hand, Shonengetsu had reached out into his carrying bag that had been placed so neatly at his hip side. Unzipping the entrance of the carrying bag, his hand reached inside, grabbing ten, unactivated anti-tank mines. Within the bag laid ten more. His hand shot upward into the air, letting go of these mines. The mines had spiraled out of control, then began to come back down. From the air resistance, the mines were able to be spread out in front of himself, and around his enemy. They had avoided the cracks and only landed around them.
Getting bigger and bigger, the black hole began to suck up more objects from the surface of the earth. The black hole was only as big as a football stadium now. The mines obviously would have been sucked into the black hole, yes, but since the black hole was created by the spirits of the gods, Shonengetsu was able to ask them to leave would he planned out on the ground, directly where it is placed.
Along with the now broken spike, Shonengetsu's cracks began to continued to spread out upon the land mass, due to the previous force he had put out to destroy the spike created by his enemy. The hell fire that had been rising from the cracks finally reached the surface and sprawled out into the open. These flames reached about 500 degrees Fahrenheit, able to burn almost any creature to death. The minions that had jumped back, were being targeted again by the cracks and fire.
Shonengetsu also assumed that the black hole would suck up the minions that this being had enslaved, but he was not sure if they had a ability to counter such things. He only waited to see as the black hole continued to suck up objects, and soon enough, the flames that continued to shoot out into the air from the cracks. This created large walls of fire, separating Shonengetsu and his opponent from any outside force that could be burned from the flames.
